FIELD: mechanical engineering; side milling cutters. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hinged cutting element for side milling cutter. Proposed hinged cutting element has rotary support for fitting with possibility of rotation on hinged pin on hub of side milling cutter, cutting teeth holder projecting from rotary support and guide lever projecting mainly in side opposite to cutting teeth holder, and socket for cutting teeth. Cutting teeth holder and guide lever are made in form of common carrying member in which support hole is made to form rotary support. Narrowing is made in cutting teeth holder between rotary support and socket for cutting teeth. Invention contains description of side milling cutter and slot cutting device. ^ EFFECT: provision of hinged cutting element of simple mounting and reliable holding on side milling cutter, side milling cutter and slot cutting device. ^ 10 cl, 5 dwg
