FIELD: insulators for overhead power transmission lines. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed polymeric pin insulator has cap, holder-mounted fastening part, and circular ribs in the form of separate butt-joined parts; cap is made of conducting material, support-mounted fastening part, of high-strength dielectric material, and circular ribs, of tracking-resistant dielectric material. Support-mounted fastening part is made in the form of internally threaded glass-plastic tube.
