FIELD: electrical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed secondary power supply incorporating provision for correcting supply mains distortions that can be used in AC supply mains at load capacities comparable with those of power transformer or off-line limited-capacity power supplies to correct inactive(reactive-power or distortion-power) component of full power in single-phase limited-capacity mains is provided with newly introduced adaptive regulator that functions to change input signal waveform for control system so that input-current harmonic components injected into supply mains minimize distortions of supply voltage curve shape at point of connection of proposed device. ^ EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities, improved characteristics of supply voltage, reduced power and voltage loss in supply mains. ^ 1 cl, 9 dwg
