FIELD: construction, particularly to remove free water from permafrost and seasonally-frozen ground during thawing out thereof and to remove atmospheric water from filtering ground. ^ SUBSTANCE: draining wall consists of elongated crushed-stone structure built in ground and isolated from day surface. Draining wall depth corresponds to thickness of ground layer to be dewatered. Wall has solid insulation means, which prevents wall material silting. The insulation means extends over the full wall surface. Wall top is shielded by separate wall part having 200-600 mm height, put in filtering insulation means and independent from main wall body. ^ EFFECT: increased draining reliability, improved engineering building site preparation, increased water removal rate, especially from fine ground having low filtering coefficient. ^ 2 dwg |
