A portable terminal is provided to present a case having a dual function to protect a main body and to be used as a grip part. A portable terminal consists of a main body and a case(200). The case(200) encloses, protects the main body and exposes the main body. The case(200) is operated as a grip part, regardless of the rotation of the main body. The case(200) has one or more apertures(201). As the apertures(201) are provided, the main body can be completely inserted into the internal space of the case(200). The case(200) has a top surface(220), a bottom surface, and a front surface(224). The apertures(201) are enveloped by the top surface(220), the bottom surface, and the front surface(224). In case that the main body is rotated at a regular angle, the case(200) serves as a user's grip part.
