The seat has a seat carrying structure (30) located on a floor of a vehicle, and a protection assembly (2) with a cover (8) for covering a support (4) and an airbag module (6). Fixation screws (12, 14) and attach tab (16) maintain the assembly on the structure. The assembly forms a unitary assembly, and the screws and tab directly connect the support to the structure such that the assembly is connected to the structure through the support. The cover (8) has a weakening part delimiting a trap (20) for releasing an airbag.
