BCAST SERVICE SYSTEM AND CONTENTS TRANSMITTING METHOD USING THE SAME

A BCAST service system and a content transmitting method using the same are provided to enhance a content receiving success rate between a terminal and a network by making the terminal feed a content reception confirming message back to the network in case the terminal downloads program contents by using a DW(Distribution Window) and a PW(Presentation Window). A BCAST service system comprises a service provider(100), a terminal(200), a BDS(Broadcast Distribution System,30), an interaction network(31) and a BDS service distribution unit(32). The service provider(100) performs transmission of contents and a service guide, and a content protection function and a maintenance function for the BCAST service. The terminal(200) receives a broadcasting service for DW or PW time from the service provider(100). The BDS(30) supports 1 to M communication for transmitting the service guide and the contents to the terminal(200). The interaction network(31) supports 1 to 1 communication for bidirectional communication. The BDS service distribution unit(32) applies the BDS(30) or the interaction network(31) to each bearer.
