FINISHING PROCESS FOR IMPARTING WATER-WASHABLE PROPERTIES TO SHRINKABLE TEXTILE BY WATER

A finishing process for imparting the washing dimension stability to the shrinkable textile by water washing is provided to perform repeatedly the compulsory shrinkage and heat fixation, thereby suppressing the shrinkage phenomenon of the textile due to the water washing. The textile shrunk by the water washing is pre-treated and dried. The textile is firstly soaked into the resin composition for reducing the textile shrinkage, shrunk compulsorily toward the warp and weft directions within a non-tension extending tumbler having the surface temperature of 130 degrees in centigrade and the space temperature of 140 degrees in centigrade. The heat of the shrunk textile is firstly fixed within a textile correction device. The heat of the shrunk textile is secondly fixed after secondly immersing in the resin composition or water.
