<p>A broadband distributed network system using an MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) scheme is provided to offer a structure corresponding to handoff among cells which can be frequently generated, and a structure most efficient for data transmission of an optical system with respect to traffic distribution. A broadband distributed network system using an MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) scheme comprises a data path switch(401), a micro cell HD controller(402), a pico cell HD controller(405), a pico cell power meter(406), a modem(421), and optical transceivers(422-1-n). The data path switch(401) switches signals, received from a BSC(Base Station Controller), to a preset pico cell. The micro cell HD controller(402) and the pico cell HD controller(405) detect a header of a signal received from the BSC, and control the data path switch(401) by using the detected header such that the data path switch(401) switches to a preset micro cell and the preset pico cell within the micro cell to which the signal is transmitted. The pico cell power meter(406) receives wave strength information from a terminal which exists within an area covered by the preset pico cell and performs a power control. The modem(421) modulates and encodes signals inputted from the data path switch(401), transfers the modulated and encoded signals to a broadband transceiver, modulates and decodes signals inputted from the broadband transceiver, and transfers the modulated and decoded signals to the data path switch(401). The optical transceivers(422-1-n) convert electric signals, received from the modem(421), into optical signals, transfer the converted optical signals to a wireless access device, convert optical signals, received from the wireless access device, into electric signals, and transfer the converted electric signals to the modem(421).</p> |
