A mobile terminal having a speaker is provided to secure an echo space of a sound emitted from a speaker by enlarging a rear space of a speaker by including a speaker withdrawing member linearly and movably mounted at a speaker mounting part. A terminal body(10) includes a speaker mounting part(41). A speaker withdrawing member(42) allows a speaker(43) to be mounted therein, draws the speaker(43) out in order to secure an echo space of sound emitted to a rear side of the speaker(43), and mounted at the speaker mounting part(41) so that it can be linearly movable. A rear side of the speaker withdrawing member(42) is opened and a plurality of sound holes for emitting a sound are formed at a front side of the speaker withdrawing member(42).
