A flexible printed circuit board and a flat display apparatus having the same are provided to minimize dimension variations of the board due to a bending state by spacing a portion jointed to a pad portion by a width of a second end. A flexible printed circuit board includes a first end(211) joined to a pad portion(14) of a subject to be connected and electrically connected to the pad portion, and second plural ends(212) positioned on an edge of the first end and not connected to the pad portion. The second end is positioned outside the subject to be connected. The first end and the second end are connected to each other by wave-type or saw-type connection.
