Beta-crystalline form of ivabradine hydrochloride, a process for its preparation and pharmaceutical compositions containing it

Disclosed is a beta-crystalline form of ivabradine hydrochloride of formula (I) characterised by the powder X-ray diffraction diagram as described in the specification. Also disclosed are processes for the preparation of said crystalline form, pharmaceutical compositions containing said crystalline form, and the use of said crystalline form as a bradycardic, in particular for the treatment of various clinical situations of myocardial ischaemia.
