Described is a composition comprising at least one AcylCoA:Cholesterol O-acyltransferase Inhibitor and at least one substituted azetidinone compound or at least one substituted beta-lactam compound or pharmaceutically accepted salts or solvates of at least one substituted azeditinone compound or the least one substituted beta-lactam compound. The composition is used for the treatment or prevention of a vascular condition, diabetes, obesity or lowering a concentration of a sterol in the plasma of a mammal.
