A mobile terminal having a sliding module is provided to enable the second housing to be movable in the upward/downward direction of the first housing, and to implement a semi-automatic sliding operation by using first and second push rods. A sliding guide(201) is mounted on the first housing(101). A sliding plate(202) is mounted on the second housing(102) and slidably combined with the sliding guide(201). One ends of first and second push rods(203a,203b) are rotatably combined with the sliding guide(201) and both ends of the first and second push rods(203a,203b) provide elasticity in a direction that they become away. A protrusion(217) is formed on the sliding guide(201). First and second supports are formed at the sliding plate(202) and supported by one of the first and second push rods(203a,203b) according to an interval where the second housing(102) is slidably moved.
