The device has a braking unit (28) that is carried by a stopper (10) and cooperates by elastic fixing with cylindrical teeth (30) of a boss (16) of a casing (18) of a turbomachine. The unit (28) is integrated in rotation with the stopper by using a shape cooperation unit. The unit (28) comprises tongues curved in circular arc around an axis (24) and applied on a bottom of an annular edge (22). The tongues are connected with each other by a flat transversal median part which extends along the bottom of an outer annular groove (32) of the stopper. An independent claim is also included for a turbomachine such as jet engine and turbo-prop of aircraft, comprising a device for braking rotation of two elements screwed with each other.
