<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device which keep sensitivity required for measurement in internal organ tissues and in a region of internal fat tissues of low conductivity and enables simultaneous measurement of fat tissues deposited in the trunk of the body, especially the fat tissues adhered to or deposited in the periphery of the internal organ tissues, and information on a subcutaneous fat tissue layer deposited in a subcutaneous layer only by switching. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, internal fat tissue information of the trunk of the body and/or subcutaneous fat tissue layer information is acquired by applying a current to the trunk of the body from a current application electrode pair and by measuring an impedance of the trunk of the body after measuring an electric potential difference generated in the trunk of the body by a voltage measurement electrode pair.
