<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open rack type carburetor of excellent convenience preventing the occurrence of a liquefied gas concentrating phenomenon. <P>SOLUTION: The open rack type carburetor comprises a lower header pipe, an upper header pipe, heat exchanger tubes 3, a heat insulating material 14, an impervious member 15 and a refrigerant supply member. Liquefied gas flows into the lower header pipe, and vaporized gas of the liquefied gas flows out of the upper header pipe. The heat exchanger tubes 3 connect the lower header pipe and the upper header pipe. The heat insulating material 14 is formed on the surface of the lower header pipe. The impervious member 15 is formed with openings, and the heat transfer tubes 3 are arranged on the surface of the heat insulating material 14 in a state of being inserted in the openings. The refrigerant supply member supplies a refrigerant for exchanging heat with the liquefied gas, to the outside of the heat exchanger tubes 3 to vaporize the liquefied gas.
