PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact composite type electromagnetic relay with a small mounting area and high connection reliability secured. SOLUTION: This composite type electromagnetic relay is provided with a plurality of electromagnetic blocks 2, 3, each being provided with an electromagnet device and a movable-contact spring member, having a movable contact operated by action of the electromagnet device, a fixed contact point member 4 having normally open fixed contact points 22, 23 disposed separately in the movable contacts of the electromagnetic blocks 2, 3 to face each other, break side members 5, 6 disposed to face the movable-contact spring member opposite to the fixed contact point member 4. The break side member 5 and the break side member 6 are connected with a plain stitch copper wire 7 through resistance welding etc. A plurality of slits 4a are provided between the normally open fixed contact point 22 and the normally open fixed contact point 23 on the fixed contact point member 4.
