PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular power supply socket restraining excessive deformation of an engaging part engaging and holding a cigar-lighter exceeding elastic limit when an electric plug enabling to supply electric power to an electric component mounted later is mounted on a socket body, capable of maintaining engaging force generated when the cigar-lighter is re-mounted on the socket body after the electric plug is used. SOLUTION: When the electric plug 3 is inserted into the socket body 10, although an engaging piece 21 is elastically deformed toward outside of the socket body 10, the deformation of the engaging piece 21 exceeding elastic limit is restrained by contacting a concave part 33 of a first illumination ring 32 arranged at a position facing the engaging piece 21. Furthermore, the recess part 33 of the first illumination ring 32 is arranged on a cylinder-shaped illumination ring 31.
