PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the insertion of an examination piece in the connector of an examination piece holder in an optical measuring system or the like for performing a blood test. SOLUTION: A main body part 31 is equipped with an insertion port 21 in which the examination piece 15 is inserted, the insertion passage 35 provided so as to be connected to the insertion port 21 and the electrode 30 on the side of the main body part provided to the lower wall surface 37 of the deep part 36 of the insertion passage 35. A projection 38 of which the height is lower than that of the electrode 30 on the side of the main body part is provided on the side of the insertion port 21 in the vicinity of the electrode 30 on the side of the main body part 31.
