PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair dressing agent that has excellent spread, slight greasiness, arranges the hair by high setting force and has set holding force for keeping the arranged hairstyle for many hours. SOLUTION: The hair dressing agent comprises (A) a wax solid at 20°C and (B) an isoparaffin-based hydrocarbon having 100-260°C boiling point and/or a volatile silicone having 2-8 silicon atoms in the mass ratio of the component (A) to the component (B) of 1:3-3:1.
