PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent momentary contact of a stud and a housing in a ball joint provided between a lower part of a knuckle and a lower arm, with simple structure avoiding increase in weight and cost. SOLUTION: An upper ball joint is provided between the knuckle 27 supporting an axle and an upper arm, and a lower ball joint is provided between the knuckle 27 and the lower arm. A distance between the center of the axle and the center of a lower ball is set smaller than that between the center of the axle and the center of an upper ball. An angleαbetween a plane PLA including a tip of a boot fitting cylindrical part 48a which is provided below a lower housing 48 to fit one end part of a boot 52 covering a connection part of a lower stud 50 and the lower housing 48, and an axial line of the lower stud 50, below and in the vehicle front side of the plane PLA, is an obtuse angle in a no-load state to the knuckle 27.
