PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article, wherein stiffness of wing parts is enhanced, and furthermore fitness of the absorbent main unit can be improved in application. SOLUTION: The absorbent article comprises a vertically long absorbent main unit 11, a pair of wing parts 12 and 12 which respectively extends from the both edges of the main unit 11 in the crosswise direction. The absorbent main unit 11 mainly comprises a face sheet 2, a rear sheet 3 and a absorber 4 positioned between the sheets 2 and 3. The wing part 12 mainly comprises the rear sheet 3 and the face sheet 2 which extend from the absorbent main unit 11 in the crosswise direction, or mainly comprises the rear sheet 3. In the absorbent main unit 11, the absorber 4 and the rear sheet 3 are joined by a main unit joint 7 comprising a plurality of adhesives 71 which are longitudinal and parallel in a stripe pattern.
