PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental shade guide holder capable of holding a plurality of dental shade guides in the stable state and minimizing the area of the gum or lips, etc. around adjacent teeth of a patient shaded by the dental shade guide, etc. SOLUTION: The dental shade guide holder is for holding a plurality of dental shade guides, each of which has a color sample body S2 imitating the form of an artificial tooth, rotatably journaled to the surface of one end of a handle part S1 made of a resilient band-shaped plate. The front surface part 1a of the dental shade guide holder in the longitudinal direction is curved downward and the rear surface part 1b of the dental shade guide holder is curved upward. The cross section of the dental shade guide holder is tapered to be gradually narrowed in one direction. The front surface part 1a is not present on the tapered part side of the rear surface part 1b, and a hollow part 1c for insertion is disposed between the front surface part 1a and the rear surface part 1b.
