The apparatus has a shrinkable hose and a tubular structure (20) connected with an electrical connecting cable in a force-fit manner. An earpiece (1) has a cylindrical housing (2) and small dimensions. The structure (20) encloses the housing in a common axial extent and includes a shoulder (21) at a front side of the acoustic output (3). A diaphragm serving as cerumen protection is one-piece connected with the structure. The acoustic output is provided at a front side of the housing, and contacts (4) are provided at another front side of the housing for connection of the cable. The shrinkable hose covers entire components of the apparatus.
