<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method enabling supply of fuel without excess fuel injection quantity at actual fuel injection timing. <P>SOLUTION: In a fuel supply method for an engine provided with an actuator 12 driven by a crankshaft, a high pressure fuel pump 11 driven by the actuator 12 and delivering high pressure fuel, fuel injection valves 31A-31D opening at predetermined fuel injection timing and supplying high pressure fuel from the high pressure fuel pump to the engine, an engine controller 41 includes a process procedure calculating estimation value of fuel pressure acting on the fuel injection valve at fuel injection timing at predetermined timing before fuel injection timing, a process procedure correcting fuel injection quantity based on fuel pressure estimation value at the fuel injection timing, and a process procedure opening the fuel injection valve to supply corrected fuel injection quantity at the fuel injection timing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
