PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly connect adjacent hollow strips by engaging an engaging part of one extended edge in a strip adjacent to one hollow strip in a front side or back side with an engaging groove in the other extended edge and by caulking a clamping groove in one supporting edge to clamp a protruded edge of the other supporting edge in the inside of the clamping groove so as to be joined. SOLUTION: In the joining structure, a plurality of hollow strips a, b, etc. are joined to one another, and provided with a hollow part 3 between the surface plate 1a and back plate 1b thereof. An extended edge 4 of the surface plate is formed in both sides on the surface side of the hollow part 3. A supporting edge 5 parallel to the extended edge 4 is formed in both sides on the back side. While engaging an engaging part 7 of one extended edge 4 in a strip adjacent to one hollow strip a in a front side or back side with an engaging groove 8 in the other extended edge 4, a clamping groove 11 in one supporting edge 5 is caulked to clamp a protruded edge 10 of the other supporting edge 5 in the inside of the clamping groove 11 so as to join the hollow strips.
