PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein detection distance between a sensor and a recording paper is fluctuated due to levitation of the recording paper, thereby causing erroneous detection, in recording paper position detection by use of the image sensor. SOLUTION: This image forming device can improve position detection precision of the image sensor by attracting a tip of the recording paper onto a conveyance guide plate by utilizing static electricity and eliminate necessities for providing a mounting space for a static electricity generating means in particular and increasing size of a machine.
