The invention relates to a method for extracting plants, especially roots, of the genus Pelargonium. Said method is characterized in that the plants are extracted by means of an ethanol-free solvent or an ethanol-free solvent mixture which is selected among water and at least one monovalent alcohol comprising at least three carbon atoms, water and at least one polyvalent alcohol, water and at least one inorganic, organic, monovalent or polyvalent acid or a derivative thereof, at least one vegetable oil, and carbon dioxide. |
