<p>[PROBLEMS] To obtain a toner which has excellent storage stability, neither emits an offensive odor nor deteriorates the surrounding atmosphere when used in printing, and has excellent durability when used in long-term printing under high-temperature high-humidity conditions. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A process for producing a toner comprising colored polymer particles which comprises polymerizing a polymerizable monomer composition comprising a polymerizable monomer and a colorant in an aqueous dispersion medium in the presence of a polymerization initiator, wherein the polymerization initiator is an organic peroxide having a molecular weight of 205 or lower and a purity of 90% or higher.</p> |
