The optics has a lens (1) producing an intermediate image of an object to be displayed in an intermediate image plane (Z1). A control system (3) is provided subsidiary to the lens, and has several reversing systems (6) that are arranged in series for transmitting the intermediate image. An optics module (2) is arranged between the intermediate image plane and the control system. The optics module decreases a diameter of a beam of rays running through the optics module and increases divergence of the beam of rays. The optics module partially compensates aberration due to the reversing systems.
