An apparatus and a method for informing about the power state of a mobile terminal are provided to enable a user to provide a guide message for informing people, registered in a user's terminal, of low power state of the terminal, to the people. Mobile terminals(102,114) are connected through a mobile communication network, include a battery(104), respectively, and set/register phone numbers of the other parties. A base station(108) is connected with the mobile communication network and relays the mobile terminals(102,114) so that they can communicate with each other. When the mobile terminals(102,114) are in a low power state, an exchange(110) manages the low power state of the mobile terminals(102,114), and when connection between the mobile terminals(102,114) and the base station(108) is released, the exchange(110) provides information on the low power state of the mobile terminals(102,114) to phone numbers of the other parties. |
