<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide taste improver whose raw material can be stably secured, whose production method is simple, with a little amount of which the taste of an orally-taken product is improved, and particularly unfavorable bitter taste, acidic taste and sweet taste can be effectively suppressed/reduced, and whose safety is extremely high: to provide an inexpensive simple and highly safe method for improving taste of an orally-taken product: and to provide an orally-taken product improved in its taste, and a high-sweetness sweetener composition reduced in its unfavorable aftertaste. <P>SOLUTION: The taste improver comprises refined material obtained by extracting black tea leaves with water to produce extract liquid followed by refining the extract liquid with adsorbent, or as the case may be, comprises re-refined material obtained through processing the refined material by a specific refining method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
