<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air diffusion device having a high air diffusion efficiency for the air diffusion device used in a water treatment system. <P>SOLUTION: A porous membrane material 30 is supported and fixed by a holder 11, box-like support members 21a and 21b, and a press member 40. The end faces 31a and 31b of the porous membrane material 30 are vertically pressed and fixed by the box-like support members 21a and 21b, and sealed.
