PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image analysis system in which burden on communication can be reduced. SOLUTION: The image analysis system for analyzing an image taken in through a camera comprises a plurality of cameras 1 for taking in independent images, a plurality of prestage analyzers 2 performing image analysis based on an image taken in by the camera 1, and a server 31 performing image analysis based on a plurality of analysis results from the prestage analyzers 2. The analyzers 2 transmit the analysis results, respectively, toward the server 31 through a communication line 5. Since analysis results from the prestage analyzer 2 is transmitted from the prestage analyzer 2 toward the server 31, burden on the communication line 5 can be reduced. Furthermore, since the server 31 performs image analysis based on the analysis results from the plurality of prestage analyzers 2, cost can be reduced as compared with a case where an image analyzer is employed independently for each camera 1.
