PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a litz wire conductor to be connected with a small number of simple components and without tools, and to cover the broadest possible range of wire cross sections to be connected. SOLUTION: A pin contact or socket contact has a connection region formed of a geometric volume body having a tip portion, and at least one clamping shoulder is formed on a side of the connection region opposite to the tip portion. In a chamber, there is provided an axially slidable sliding element having a through hole for insertion of the litz wire conductor. A clamping sleeve is fixed to the sliding element, being axially aligned with respect to the through hole. The clamping sleeve can be pushed on and pulled off the connection region of the pin contact or socket contact together with the sliding element. A force is exerted on the litz wire conductor inserted between the clamping sleeve and the clamping shoulder to fix its position in a radial direction of the clamping sleeve.
