PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce wastefulness of capability as compared to a storage control system capable of loading various control boards including an interface control circuit board capable of processing file access requirement in the same position. SOLUTION: A network channel adapter (CHN) 8 processing the file access requirement is divided into a CHN-NAS part 3 performing processing for converting the file access requirement into block access requirement, and a CHN-IO part 5 outputting the block access requirement.
