PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production system using a cigarette producing machine (4) connected to a packer (5). SOLUTION: The cigarettes (2) temporarily surplus to requirements are stored in containers (3) in the production system using the cigarette producing machine (4) connected to the packer (5). Each container is provided with an opening (11) through which the container is filled and emptied. An empty container (3) is picked up from a first magazine (27) storing the empty containers, filled with the cigarettes (2) in a loading hopper (14) and placed on a second magazine (31), located along the first magazine (27) and holding the full container (3). The transfer from the hopper (14) to the second magazine (31) is carried out along a circular path with the vertical axis (37) between both the magazines as the center using a rotation mechanism (35) equipped with plates (40 and 43).
