A circuit board arrangement for mounting electrical and/or electronic components (33) has several electrically contacted discrete circuit boards. The circuit boards (22-24) are joined to one another by hinges, and a flexible ribbon cable is specifically arranged centrally between the circuit boards. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an electrical appliance with circuit board arrangement; and (2) ahinge element especially for circuit board arrangement.
