A pump of an air gun is provided to compress air by turning on a pressure switch when air pressure in a compression tank is lowered, rotating a cam through a motor, and reciprocating a piston, to shoot bullets to a certain pressure by stopping the motor through turning off the pressure switch when the pressure is full, and to improve using convenience and accuracy by no need of an air barrel. A pump of an air gun comprises a valve(5) installed at the front side of a compression tank(2); a compression pump(3) and a piston(4) installed in a main body(1); a fixing bracket(6) fixed at the outer side of the protruded compression tank; a link(8) mounted on the fixing bracket and a cam(7); a pressure switch and a pressure gauge installed in a gunstock; and a battery installed inside to be connected with other components by electric wires. The link and a gear are installed at the piston of the compression tank to be operated by a motor(9) and the battery.
