摘要 A novel imidazole derivative is provided to be used for hole injection, hole transfer, electron injection and transfer or electroluminescent material in an organic electronic device. And an organic electronic device using the same is provided to show excellent characteristics such as efficiency, drive voltage, and stability. The imidazole derivative is represented by the formula(1), wherein each R^1 to R^6 is independently H, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy, substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, substituted or unsubstituted hetero-cycle, substituted or unsubstituted aliphatic cycle, substituted or unsubstituted silicone, substituted or unsubstituted boron, amino, nitrile, nitro, halogen, amide, or ester, R^7 is substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, substituted or unsubstituted hetero-cycle, substituted or unsubstituted aliphatic cycle, or substituted or unsubstituted silicone, and R^8 is substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, or substituted or unsubstituted hetero-cycle. The organic electronic device comprises a first electrode, a second electrode, and at least one organic layer placed between the first and second electrodes, wherein at least one layer of the organic layer comprises the compound represented by the formula(1).
