<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording and reproducing device capable of setting a highly accurate write strategy within a short time also at the time of high-speed recording, and to provide an optical information recording method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: According to a predetermined write strategy, the optical information recording and reproducing device performs test-recording of information including two or more kinds of marks on an optical recording medium, reading the test-recorded information, and generates a binary reproduction signal according to the marks and spaces. The device generates a clock of a predetermined frequency, and detects deviation between timing of edge and the clock for an edge of each mark from which the value changes in the generated reproduction signal. Then, the device corrects the predetermined write strategy for each mark so that all the deviation detected for each edge are matched. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
