INKJET RECORDER AND INKJET RECORDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high-speed bidirectional recording without an output time being elongated more than necessary due to effects of a fixing time in an inkjet recorder of a serial type which carries a plurality of kinds of ink with different characteristics in parallel. SOLUTION: A practice order of forward recording scanning and rearward recording scanning is controlled so as to more reduce a sum of a time required for forming an image and a time for waiting until the image after formed is fixed. Recording scanning of a shorter fixing time between the forward direction and the rearward direction is set with priority also in bidirectional recording, so that a total time required for image output can be reduced more.
