PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device in which miniaturization, simplification of parts, and improvement of operability are performed with simple constitution, in especially traverse mechanism and gear part assembly structure. SOLUTION: When a shift lever 7 is attached to a front part lower side of a traverse mechanism 2, dampers 13 are attached previously to two attachment parts of left and right at the front part of a mechanical chassis 2a, a flat gear 5a is engaged rotatably to sleeve 2aa extended in a cylindrical shape to a lower part from around the attachment part of the front part right side of the mechanical chassis 2a. Further, a gear 5b for feed of the rear part of a transmission means 5 is engaged rotatably to a boss 2ab extended to a lower part in the rear part of the sleeve 2aa, and slip-prevention is performed by screwing a screw 20 from the lower side.
