PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of external terminals and to reduce costs by allowing a device to be compatible with any interface in connecting the device to an electronic apparatus including different interfaces. SOLUTION: A register 20 connectable to the electronic apparatus including different interfaces (SRAM/ATPI) is provided with a register part 24 for storing required data and a control part 21 for inputting a control signal SEL supplied from the outside and a signal group SIG supplied from the SRAM interface or the ATAPI interface. The control part 21 generates an internal selection signal ICS for selecting the register part 24 from the inputted signal group SIG in accordance with the set logical level ("0" or "1") of the control signal SEL.
