PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content display device and a content display method that improve user operability. SOLUTION: The content display device, which displays content described in HTML including dynamic elements such as animation display, comprises a content analysis part 204 for, upon a user event by a user operation for cursor movement, screen scrolling or the like, interpreting static elements in the content during event processing, and interpreting only the dynamic elements in the content except during event processing.
