PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic container, preventing an inner tray from dislocating from an inner frame due to a shock in dropping and keeping the surface of a cosmetic from being touched by the fingertips in assembling. SOLUTION: This cosmetic container includes: a container body 1 provided with an inner frame housing recessed part 1a having a top opening part; an inner frame 2 located in the inner frame housing recessed part 1a of the container body 1; the inner tray 3 removably housed in the inner tray housing part 12 formed in the inner frame 2; and a lid put on the container body 1. The inner frame 2 is selectively put in the lodging state where the whole thereof is housed in the inner frame housing recessed part 1a or in the erect state where the inner frame is erected on one end, with the other end exposed on the top opening part of the inner frame housing recessed part 1a, the other end of the inner frame 2 is provided with an insert port for passing the inner tray 3, and the inner frame is provided with a guiding/holding means for guiding the inner tray 3 inserted in its erect state from the insert port to the inner tray housing part 17 to be held and housed in the latched state, and guiding the inner tray 3 housed in the inner tray housing part 17 to the insert port.
