The construction kit contains plastics building elements of a first type formed by open cubes defined by five rectangular faces (1,2 , 3) of which one face has identical sized studs (4) set equidistant on the outside and hollow cylinders end flush inside with the four other faces. Elements of a second kind in the form of rods fit by their ends clamped into the hollow cylinders. Elements of a third kind in the form of resilient cubes have suitably sized indentations spaced out on at least two opposing outside faces so that the studs of the first elements can be clamped therein. The rods can be made of a bendable material and can have magnets or light sources at the ends.
