A method of operating an infrared (IR)-viewing system, the latter consisting of a an IR-semiconductor light source, especially a semiconductor laser diode, mounted in a head-lamp of a motor vehicle, an IR-camera, a device for determining the semiconductor temperature, and a heating device driven in relation to the semiconductor temperature and/or the semiconductor ambient temperature. The semiconductor light source is operated for wavelength stabilization during a desired semiconductor temperature (Tsoll) which corresponds to the semiconductor temperature.
|
