PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content integration platform having a format and protocol conversion. SOLUTION: An interactive multimedia device is provided, which converts media content having a variety of input data formats into data formats acceptable by output devices available to a user in real-time or nearly-real-time and into output protocols that can communicate with the user devices. The multimedia device obtains the content from remote sources and delivers it to the user.
